Visit from the RNLI

This week we had some special visitors from the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution). Phil and Nick came from Sheringham to talk to us about water safety, what the RNLI does and what it is like to have their job! Stormy Sam (their mascot) came to see us too!

We learnt that lifeboat crew members have to wear lots of layers to keep them warm at sea – they wear a bear suit first, and then they have to put on an all in one suit to stop them getting wet. Even the wellies are attached to their suits!

Miss Copeman even dressed up as a lifeboat crew member!
