Planting and arrays!

This week in maths we received another message from the Wild Things. They wanted to eat some spotty bugs but couldn’t remember which numbers we had said they were allowed! They asked us to draw it or write it down for them. (The rules stayed the same- they could only eat 24 spots. If they ate more they’d be too full. If they ate less they’d still be hungry. If bugs with different numbers on touched, they’d explode! Which numbers repeatedly add to make 24?)

In English we started to create our own version of Where the Wild Things Are. We thought about different fantasy settings. For talk homework, ask your child to describe their new setting and characters.

In science we thought about what plants need to survive, and planted flower seeds!
