We Say...

Staff expect you to try your best, but will always help you if you get stuck.
A pupil.

School Meals

Our school has been awarded Healthy School Status. We encourage pupils to have water bottles in school and to drink regularly.

We provide “Tuck at 10” where children are given the opportunity to buy a healthy snack from our school kitchen for 40p. All our KS1 children have a piece of fruit at snacktime, children under 5 are provided with free milk. Children may bring in a piece of fruit or HEALTHY snack for morning break.

School Dinners

School dinners are cooked on the premises in our purpose built kitchen. Children can choose to have either a hot dinner or cold packed lunch. The food available meets all the food standards and provides pupils with a healthy, balanced and nutritious meal at lunchtime.

Packed Lunches

Children may also bring in a packed lunch from home. We ask parents to ensure that packed lunches are healthy, balanced and nutritional. Fizzy drinks, chocolate biscuits and or bars, are not allowed in school. We also ask parents to ensure that children have a savoury filling in their sandwiches rather than jam and chocolate spreads.
