Gressenhall Workhouse
Children from Phase Three spent the day at Gressenhall Workhouse on Monday. The children took part in living history sessions run by the museum staff and spent time looking around the museum and grounds. They had a chance to experience how victorian children would be treated in a school, they also cooked using an open range and washed clothes using water heated in an old fashioned copper. The children also spent time in the wonderful museum and enjoyed seeing the different animals on the working farm…the turkeys and pigs were particularly popular. Here are some photos of our day.
