2023/24

Drawing

We have really enjoyed diving into art influenced by Ancient Greece. We've developed our mark-making skills to draw, sketch and use shading techniques to recreate Greek architecture. 

Printmaking

Using ideas from our drawings, we created prints of scenes from different Greek myths.

3D

We've also used our writing of Greek myths to inspire our art. We worked with clay to create tiles that depict scenes from different myths.

2022/23

We began our art journey this year by refining our mark making and considering how different marks can be sparked by different feelings. We also explored how different media can change the marks further.

We looked at modern and historical collage artists and practised applying and refining their techniques to produce our own individual and group collages.
