Multiplication Tables Check
The multiplication tables check (MTC) is statutory for primary schools in the 2021/22 academic year. The purpose of the MTC is to determine whether pupils can recall their times tables fluently, which is essential for future success in mathematics. It will help schools to identify pupils who have not yet mastered their times tables, so that additional support can be provided.For more information, please see the links below.

Click the links below to access times tables cards. If you print these double sided then they are a very useful resource for working on the quick recall of whatever times table your child is currently learning. There is also a 'cheat sheet' for Times Tables Rock Stars. It is perfectly fine for children to use this while doing TTRS as they begin to learn their times tables facts. As they continue to use TTRS and their times tables knowledge becomes embedded, they will use this less and less.
