Message from Mrs Williams, our Headteacher

I’m so proud to lead a school where children learn by doing—where they’re encouraged to explore, ask questions, take sensible risks, and discover what they’re capable of. Our values of Enjoy, Aspire and Achieve are part of everyday life here. You’ll see them in our classrooms, our playground, and in the way our children talk about their learning.

We often say:
Try our best, do our best, be our best.
It’s simple, but it guides everything. Each day, we take a moment to reflect on what we’ve done to make ourselves proud—and how we’ve helped someone else feel proud too. Those small moments of kindness, courage, and effort add up to something really special.

We love that we are an inner‑city school, which has a wonderfully large playground that gives our children space to run, play, and invent their own adventures. We’re close enough to the city to make the most of everything it offers, yet our school allotment and nature school give children the chance to grow things, get outdoors, and learn in hands‑on, practical ways.

We believe in high expectations—not pressure, but possibility. We want every child to know that their potential is huge, and that we’re here to support them every step of the way.
