Mathematics Year 4

Mathematics in year 4 is based around real life learning activities e.g.

• adding up our daily totals for the class 15 minute run (for our Run around Britain)
• measuring and converting - cooking  the food of the areas we visit during our Journey around Britain
• temperature - understanding the variances and differences across Great Britain and the world 

The Lakenham Primary approach to Maths is based around the key skills to be taught, using a variety of resources to support in this learning process including NCETM, Numicom and White Rose Maths. We understand that there is no silver bullet in programs, but use the best of each to support the learning of the children.
