Polar World Enquiry

Our Polar World Enquiry encompassed using many scientific skills.

We learned that the Polar Regions of our World are very cold and are usually covered in ice. We learned about the different animals that live in the Arctic and Antarctic and the ways that they have adapted to live in these cold habitats.

We thought about the size of some of these animals and made some life sized models.

We then thought about how the world is heating up and that this will affect the Polar Regions. We conducted two experiments. One to see how long it takes ice to melt and one other to see how we can slow this process down.
