Inclusion Assistant
Start: January 2025
Scale: D
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (part time would be considered)
Type: Temporary for 1 year, with the option to change to permanent if the role is successful.

We require an Inclusion Assistant, to work under the guidance of the Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion). This is an important newly created role within the Lakenham staffing structure. The successful candidate will the reliable, well organised, adaptable, caring person and most importantly, someone with a sense of humour.
The Inclusion Assistant will be an in office and with children role. This role will provide administrative support in line with the SEN code of practice, but also undertaking assessments of SEN, EAL and Pupil premium pupils, including working with small groups and making resources.
Within this role the successful candidate would have good communication skills, a welcoming and friendly approach with a high level of professionalism. Someone who is able to work independently, but also to tight timelines at times.

You will be asked to make a criminal conviction declaration if you are shortlisted for the post.
